Shazam for TV
Redesigning Shazam's suite of TV idents.
Working closely with contractors, advertising & executive teams over the last year, I’ve developed, defined and refined the brand new suite of idents for our global TV and broadcast partners.
Overhauling Shazam for TV involved organising and directing comprehensive motion design, creating broadcast ready templates and showreels for some of the world’s biggest networks, presenting packages to Senior Advertising Executives, negotiating deliverables and managing expectations across the entire business.
Our debut campaign (and one of the most successful to date) was the world’s first ever ‘drinkable’ commercial with Coke Zero. We Shazam-enabled a whole host of touchpoints for the brand including TV & radio commercials, sports stadiums & festivals for thousands of fans. By simply Shazaming, users could see an ice-cold Coke Zero pouring into their phone, generating a voucher to pickup a free bottle at their nearest store. The campaign debuted at the NCAA® Final Four® in Indianapolis. The final idents were produced by Designer, Andrea Stragapede.
As part of the package, we also refreshed the top-and-tail IDs for our editorial franchises including Shazam Sessions, #FeaturedByShazam, Shazam Live, the Hall of Fame and many more.
Next, the messages carried by international broadcasters on primetime programming and commercials were refreshed. The showreel conveys the flexibility of making your products Shazamable; standard idents, co-branding and bug switches.
