Zeebox for Brands
Curating the Zeebox advertising suite.
Advertising. It's ubiquitous, unavoidable and when executed well, beneficial for brand and consumer. That was the challenge when we integrated ad sync and show sponsorship into zeebox.
We desperately wanted to avoid traditional media ad units. Sponsorship especially, works best when the messaging and programming marry; from that end I set about discovering viable takeover options.
Using zeebox's bespoke OpenBox service, we could create cohesion between banner advertising and TV Show branding. It was vital creative was polished within an inch of its life - it was used by NBC CEO Stephen Burke in his sizzle reel at the annual multi-million, start-of-season TV advertising buy-in presentation.
Having recently envisioned the new 'immersion canvas' in zeebox, it made complete sense to allow advertisers the opportunity to curate bespoke playalong content and apply sponsor tags in this area. In essence, it became the premium solution for brands - like ident bumpers on-air, it united them with the television show.
Putting it all together, the zeebox model becomes an extremely attractive proposition for major television sponsors & advertisers who want to carry their message onto the second screen.
